Claudine Stace is passionate about Cosmetic Tattooing and how much it can help and enhance women of all ages.
She has trained with many international trainers, travelling as far afield as the USA to attend trainings and conventions.
She started with her Foundation Training in Cosmetic Tattooing in 2013, in Melbourne Australia. Since then she has trained with many of the world's most renown Cosmetic Tattooists, including Will Anthony from Florida (Eyeliner); Teryn Darling from Las Vegas, USA (Powder brows); Mary Ritcherson from Florida, USA (Hairstroke brows); and Rebbecca Cheung from Hong Kong (Advanced Microblading). She has also trained in Advanced Ombre brows and lip techniques with the Melbourne College of Cosmetic Tattooing in Australia, and Tattoo Removal techniques with Deanne Carney, Gold Coast, Australia.
She is a member of The SPCP (Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals) in the USA and attends conventions and ongoing education through the organisation.
Previous to this Claudine had over 25 years at the high end of the beauty industry, as a Senior Makeup Artist/Hairstylist for television, photographic, commercial, magazine, and event makeup. She tutored Makeup Artistry at the Cut Above Academy in Auckland.
Most recently she worked as a Key Makeup Artist for Television 3, working extensively on current affairs and news programmes sprucing up everyone on air from Presenters to Prime Ministers. (Yes, including PM Jacinda Ardern.)
She held her permanent position for 15 years at TV3 and was known and respected as one of the best in the industry.
She still has a team of dedicated hair and makeup artists whom she has trained who work doing bridal and event work.

Claudine feels that her background in traditional makeup sets her apart. Her instinct for brow placement, shape and the perfect shade and technique is second to none.
Her Cosmetic Tattooing has earnt her a great reputation, she is booked for about 6 weeks in advance at any time. She does have a cancellation list so if you really need to get in sooner it is worth asking as she may be able to accommodate.
She has clients coming every week from other parts of the country, and even abroad, who have been so impressed with her work that they have seen on friends and family members, that they choose to come to her.
She has done over 6000 Cosmetic Tattooing procedures to date.
She specialises in brows for Alopeica and Cancer patients and for those of us who have lost brows fully or partially with age. She creates soft brows with a layered technique that gives both depth and texture for believeable brows.
She is also Wellington's only Accredited ACC provider for Cosmetic Tattooing.
Claudine now uses some of the world’s most long lasting pigments, which in some cases can last 3 or more years without needing a touch up. She can do any style or look with brows from the most natural to a more dramatic effect, catering to clients from 18 to 85.
There are many styles and names for Cosmetic Tattooing: Feathering, Microblading, Ombre, Powder Brows, Combination, and Hybrid. Claudine likes to see each client prior to their appointment to work out what techniques will give the most natural and believable result and will work best with your skin type. She uses topical anesthetics at all stages of the procedure so it is the most comfortable for you. Many clients report that are surprised that they hardly feel a thing!
She offers free consultations at her Lower Hutt studio where she draws the design as it will look when its tattooed. She can also then answer any questions you may have about the procedure.
